The prestressed premium range is the only concrete lintel to have been awarded a BSI Kitemark. It also includes a high-strength option where there are exceptional load requirements.

Featuring the Supreme superior concrete technology – both precast and prestressed lintels are manufactured with a textured finish. A range of complementary Padstones is available to provide the perfect support for your Supreme lintels.

Manufactured in accordance with EN 845-2:2013.

Loading Guide:The loads on the lintels are assessed in accordance with the method described in Eurocode 2 EN 1992-1-1-:2004, EN 1990, EN 1991-1-1.

Installation:

  • Ensure the lintel is not damaged.
  • The lintel should be installed with a minimum end bearing of 150mm.
  • Ensure the lintel is used in its correct orientation and is fully bedded in a level position on mortar across its length and width.
  • The masonry below the lintel should be built in accordance with EN 1996-1-1.
  • Where required in external walls a flexible damp proof course or cavity tray shall be installed in accordance with current building regulations.
  • If required rendering of the lintel is not deemed to be detrimental to its performance.
  • Do not cut into the lintel to form rebates or modify in any way , if in doubt please contact our technical department.

What is the difference between an R15 and an R15A lintel?

There isn't any difference. An R15 and R15A is the same lintel. The “A“ just denotes which way around this is laid. Please see the loading table for reference.
